Let's work together

My Background and Values

I am a bilingual Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a background in psychology and graduate-level training in psychotherapy. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and am completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy at the Université de Hearst.

My professional experience has allowed me to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of mental health and community settings. I have supported individuals experiencing mental health challenges, addiction, crisis, victimization, family and relational difficulties, and other complex life circumstances.

Throughout my work, I have learned the importance of meeting each person with compassion, respect, and without judgment. I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward meaningful change.

Who I Work With & What I Help With

I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of emotional, relational, and mental health concerns. My previous experience in youth mental health, family services, victim services, forensic psychiatry, addiction services, crisis intervention, and correctional settings has given me experience supporting people through both everyday challenges and more complex circumstances.

I can support individuals experiencing concerns such as:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Depression and low mood
  • Emotional regulation and coping
  • Self-esteem and self-confidence
  • Relationship and family difficulties
  • Life transitions and adjustment
  • School and academic challenges
  • Trauma and experiences of victimization
  • Grief and loss
  • Addiction and substance use
  • Crisis and emotional distress
  • Difficulties related to communication, boundaries, and relationships

I also have experience supporting parents and families navigating conflict, changes in family dynamics, and challenges related to parenting and communication.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to work alongside you to better understand what you are experiencing, identify what may be getting in the way, and develop strategies that feel realistic and meaningful to you.

I draw from evidence-informed therapeutic approaches and adapt my interventions to each person's needs, developmental stage, strengths, and goals. Depending on what you are experiencing, therapy may involve developing practical coping strategies, exploring patterns in thoughts and behaviours, strengthening emotional regulation, improving communication, processing difficult experiences, or building greater self-awareness.

I strive to create a therapeutic environment where you can be open and honest without fear of judgment. Whether you are navigating a specific challenge or feeling unsure about where to begin, we can start where you are and work together from there.

Why Choose This Work With Me?

Choosing to begin therapy can feel vulnerable, and finding the right therapist matters. My diverse professional experience has taught me how important it is to approach each person as an individual rather than making assumptions based on their circumstances.

I bring curiosity, empathy, and a genuine commitment to understanding the person behind the concern. My experience working across youth mental health, victim services, addiction, forensic psychiatry, family services, crisis intervention, and community settings has strengthened my ability to support people through a wide range of challenges.

As a bilingual therapist, I offer services in both French and English. Whether you are looking for support with a specific concern, navigating a difficult transition, or simply want a better understanding of yourself and your relationships, I would be honoured to work with you.
